This could be why he is replacing Roman. “Especially their offense against our defense looked like a mismatch today”. On one hand, the Bills deserve criticism for allowing Ryan to consolidate power after doing little to deserve it over his first 18 games as head coach. In Rex Ryan’s mind, it’s not the defense – he’s been betting on himself all offseason that he’ll be able to turn that around. “There’s things we need to learn from it and then move on”. Greg Roman was obviously not getting the job done.
