A public beta is expected to come before the game’s release date that is set for March 8.

Earlier this week, an email from a third party seller suggested that The Division beta could begin on January 29. A private alpha test already rolled out before Christmas but only to select few on Xbox One. However, this did happen not before the trailer was hosted on other website.
The three minute video includes our best look yet at the game’s gunplay and NY open world.
According to the specialized website Eurogamer, among the freshly revealed areas are included the game’s familiar snowy streets as well as an underground metro and ruined train station.
It won’t be too long until Ubisoft releases its new The Division trailer officially, but until then – you’ll find it elsewhere online.
Gamers will also face enemies equipped with riot shields and robot gun turrets, as well as flamethrowers and grenades.

As spotted by WCCFTech.com, the game’s entry on the Uplay mobile app (pictured below) lists an action rewarding players for taking part “in the Tom Clancy’s The Division Closed BETA in January 2016”, confirming that it’s due to go live later this month. So anticipated that GameStop Italia had a hard time keeping a brand new trailer a secret. We’ve taken a snapshot for you to see.
