Prince’s Paisley Park compound will soon be converted into a museum that will be open to the public.

“Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on”, Tyka Nelson, Prince’s sister, said in a statement. Only a few hundred people have ever been inside Paisley Park, Nelson said, but now fans from around the globe will be able to step into the world of Prince Rogers Nelson.

Music superstar Prince fan, Mona Shelton, 42, of Bloomington, Minnesota, and an unidentified employee (L) of Prince’s estate Paisley Park place flowers on a fence in Chanhassen, Minnesota, U.S. April 21, 2016.

Tours will reportedly begin this October and tickets will be available starting August 26 at 3 PM EST. Visitors will also get the rare chance of seeing the rock legend’s private NPG Music Club, massive soundstage and concert hall, where he prepared for tours and conducted private events.

Moreover, in a joint statement, Prince’s siblings expressed that the new Paisley Park museum will give guests a unique exhibition.

Chanhassen, a city of approximately 23,000 about 30 minutes southwest of Minneapolis, has already been fielding visitors flocking to the gates of Paisley Park to pay tribute to Prince after his death on April 21st. There will also be thousands of artifacts, like costumes, awards, instruments, cars, motorcycles, and rare audio and video recordings.

A subsidiary of Graceland Holdings, which has helped operate the Memphis complex for 30 years, will manage Paisley Park and has provided some money for initial improvement and operating costs, according to the museum plan.

According to a business plan filed locally, tickets will cost $38.50 and that tours will last just over an hour. Graceland officials expect 1,500 to 2,000 guests on peak days.

Prince died at age 57 leaving no known will.

The criminal investigation is continuing.

Prince initially rented out Paisley Park. Bremer Trust said the family supports the museum plan. Few fans were able to see Paisley Park for themselves, giving the complex an added aura for those who entered its gates. “Most important, the museum will display Prince’s genius, honor his legacy, and carry forward his strong sense of family and community”.
