Homefront The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter is available to play for free via Steam this weekend allowing you to lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.

The Free Weekend will see the entire game being unlocked and available to play, with a 30-hour single player campaign, as well as the game’s online Resistance Mode, where players work together on various missions.
Publisher Deep Silver said the promotion is created to showcase the improvements made to Dambuster Studios’ shooter with the recently-released performance patch, which tackled frame-rate issues. Resistance Mode also features the new Guerilla Score and Renown system.
In addition, Homefront: The Revolution is also available to purchase at 40% off while the game’s Freedom Fighter Bundle is now down to 50% off. Thanks to a press release that was sent out, we’re finding out that for this weekend only, gamers will be able to enjoy Homefront: The Revolution with the latest patch.
The recent Performance Patch or Patch 2.0 launched last month, and made significant improvements to the game’s performance. The patch also provided two new Resistance mode missions.
