The series is far from dead and developer Deep Silver Dambuster Studios are working hard on a sequel called Homefront: The Revolution.
Today, we got to see some Homefront: The Revolution finally via a launch trailer- it showed off the premise: an America that has fallen to Korean invaders, and an oppressed society. That’s the message of Homefront: The Revolution – which is now actually a game that exists.

The game is playable co-operatively, allowing players to form their own resistance cell. The game will arrive next year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with the X1 getting early access privileges for the multiplayer beta, which is coming at some point in Winter. Players must learn the art of guerrilla warfare – ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception – and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.
