The hackers juxtaposed images of the actress, perhaps best known for her roles in “Saturday Night Live” and “Ghostbusters” with photos of Harambe, a deceased gorilla.

Agents at the FBI have reportedly launched an investigation into the brutal hack attack targeting actress Leslie Jones.

Unnamed sources told TMZ the Federal Bureau of Investigation is now investigating.

“The hack of Jones’ site, which has been taken offline, also featured YouTube video of the gorilla Harambe, who was killed in an OH zoo earlier this year”, explained The Wrap. “I’m with you. -H”, the Democratic nominee tweeted on Thursday.

“@Lessdoggg, no one deserves this – least of all someone who brings us so much joy”.

According to references on the hacked site before it was taken down, the parties responsible were supporters of Yiannopolos seeking revenge for his lifetime Twitter ban.

Jones was previously the a target of online harassment in July when a series of racist and misogynistic attacks bombarded her Twitter account. It’s disgusting. This is hate crimes.
