And the hack also caught the attention of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who sent out this tweet to Jones, aka @Lesdoggg, in support.

“ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in NY does now have an open investigation”, a spokeswoman said.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is investigating the hack of Leslie Jones’ website, JustLeslie.com, as Mashable reports.
“A hacker accessed the “Ghostbusters” star’s iCloud account and posted photos of her passport and drivers license, as well as images of her naked, on Wednesday”, Variety noted.
It’s believed she had a problem with catfishing in the past and Homeland Security investigated.
Leslie Jones is one step closer to justice. “In order to protect the integrity of the case, no further details are available at this time”, Rachel Yong You, a spokeswoman for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said yesterday in an email to Reuters.
The hackers also juxtaposed images of the actress with photos of Harambe, a deceased gorilla. “I #StandWithLeslie”, Perry added to her 92.1 million Twitter followers.
Jones is still yet to comment on the incident. She came back when the co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, banned the grand wizard of the racist trolls, Milo Yiannopoulos.

Jones, who has been the target of racist and sexist backlash since she was confirmed for “Ghostbusters” in January 2015, took her website offline after the hack. “I know we had our differences after my review of Ghostbusters but I wish her all the best at what must be a deeply upsetting time”.
