Homeland Security Looking into Leslie Jones Hack
She’s with her. Hillary Clinton tweeted her support for Leslie Jones on Thursday, August 25, one day after the Ghostbusters star’s website was hacked, and the Democratic presidential nominee had some kind words to offer the actress. “As a matter of agency policy, we are unable to disclose any details related to an active investigation”.

The Twitter fans of Yiannopoulos are rejoicing at Jones’ misfortune like the small-minded children they are, stating gleefully that the hack was done in retaliation to Yiannopoulos’ ban from Twitter for leading the barrage of insults against Jones.
Representatives from Apple Inc (AAPL.O) and Jones’ agent did not respond to requests for comment. Yiannopoulos, who had more than 350,000 followers on Twitter, was known for instigating controversy on the platform and Jones blamed him for riling up his supporters to come after her.
Actress Leslie Jones arrives at the Los Angeles premiere of “Ghostbusters“.
Jones chose to re-tweet numerous misogynist and racist comments directed at her in July, which variously called her an “ape” and a “savage”, before taking a brief hiatus from the social networking site.
Personal information, including images of her driver’s license and passport and sexually explicit photographs of Jones, appeared on the site.
The hacker reportedly broke into Jones’ iCloud account and then posted the personal images on the website, which has since been taken down.
In response, Twitter permanently suspended numerous accounts and said it was taking steps to confront abusive behaviour.
While it’s easy to connect this to terrorism, since the Department of Homeland Security is involved, there are other ways this could fracture. Jones has been compared to the animal multiple times by internet trolls.
The site, www.JustLeslie.com, was later went offline.
