Eric Burdo told KTNV he was fed up with reports of packages in his community being stolen from people’s porches and chose to do something about it. So he filled a plain looking mail package with some of his dog’s poop and left it on his porch.
The thief and his accomplice were caught on two of Burdo’s home security cameras.
He says he didn’t call the police, but hopes the boys will learn a lesson. A camera he installed above captured the rest.
“Are you suggesting that everybody put a package of poop on their porch?”
A homeowner came up with a unique way to deal with thieves who kept stealing his packages.
Believe it or not, this actually isn’t the first time a homeowner has gotten back at a thief by using dog poop.

“It’s often said, ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, ‘ but something tells me this prank might become popular nationwide”, he added. This means that your package can’t be left haphazardly on your doorstep. Despite his kindness, it’s up to the thief and his friend to decide if they’ve learned their lesson.
