“I’m honored to have served the Oxnard community for the past five-and-a-half years”, said Williams in a statement.

‘Police are confident that White’s case is still forensically linked to the other incidents, ‘ Sgt Jonathan Howard told The Arizona Republic.

All of the incidents occurred in residential neighborhoods, many of them in the Maryvale area.

“We’re talking about people outside of residential areas or outside of a home in the street, next to the street, with a description of a suspect that drives up, gets out, nearly without any prior contact just starts shooting and then flees in that vehicle”, Phoenix police Sgt. Jonathan Howard said.

The fourth newly listed shooting involved an unoccupied vehicle on the west side.

Other law enforcement agencies have joined the effort, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Marshals and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. That same person then shot him dead. She died of her injuries July 7.

The additional four incidents were added after investigators reviewed all possibly related incidents since January 1, a police statement said. Police say all were killed by a thin, lanky man with a handgun who is probably in his 20s and that there is no known motive.

“We want the public to know that it will take a tip from them to stop this violence”, Howard said. Two of those shootings involved people wounded late at night on back-to-back nights in March.

April 19: A 55-year-old woman, Krystal Annette White, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound at 500 N. 32nd St. around 4:30 a.m.

One of those shootings occurred east of downtown.

The Phoenix Police Department is searching for the person responsible for the following incidents in the Maryvale area: March 17: A 16-year-old was shot while walking around 11. A 21-year-0ld was shot and wounded on March 18.
