The Green Bay Packers contacted Old Glory Honor Flight offering to participate.

The veterans got to bring their families along for the three-day trip. They said it’s the tribe’s way of honoring their veterans for their service.

Thousands of people gathered at the Greater Rochester global Airport Sunday morning to welcome home members of our greatest generation.

The veterans will spend about an hour at the National World War II Memorial, 90 minutes at the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, almost two hours at Arlington National Cemetery and an hour at the History of the Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima), Honor Flight Bluegrass says. The airport is offering free parking during the event.
