Honor’s flagship Honor 7 responds on being called out

It houses a 70mAh battery which is rated for up to 4 days on a single charge and has 14-days of standby time. The Honor 7 comes with (16GB) of inbuilt storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB. The price for which Honor 7 will hit the Indian market is not known yet, however rumors suggest the best price to be at Rs. 20,000, which is cheaper than the European version.

In addition, the Honor 7 also comes with a physical hardware “Smart Key” that can be configured for various purposes from the phone’s Settings.

The Huawei Honor 7 will be made available in Mystery Grey and Fantasy Silver Color, it will start retailing on Flipkart from October 15 onwards. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT6735 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM.

The Honor 7 features a 20-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, and 8-megapixel front facing camera. It allows the user to swipe down on the fingerprint sensor to open the notification panel and double-touch on the fingerprint sensor to dismiss all notifications.

This fitness band comes in a minimalistic design with brushed metal bezels and more of a watch like structure. This will be the new member of the Play family, which so far has included the cheapest Honor handsets.

Connectivity options include: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, microUSB v2.

Camera department is managed by a 20-Megapixel primary sensor along with a 8-Megapixel secondary camera.

The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop underneath Huawei’s Emotion UI operating system.

The Honor also features more voice capabilities, such as the ability to be woken up with a designated command, like “Dear Honor”. It can be activated by pressing the power button and shaking the phone as well as other button combinations. It also has knuckle-tap feature to take screenshots easily by tapping on the screen twice with the knuckles for an instant full-screen capture.

Honor 7 does come with a few interesting features and the inbuilt powerbank (reverse charging) is definitely one of them.

If a recently posted launch teaser from the company’s official Weibo account is to be believed, the China-based mobile manufacturer will introduce the highly speculated Honor Play 5X smartphone during the said showcase.
