Honorary plaque unveiled at hotel where Clarkson “fracas” took place
United Kingdom it looks like the Simonstone Hall hotel received a very special plaque to mark the exact place and location of where Jeremy Clarkson took a swing at Oison Tymon sparking off an incident that’s forever been called a fracas that ultimately brought the end of Top Gear United Kingdom as we know it. We’ve linked a copy of the plaque as it reads below.

The star was quickly dismissed from the hit BBC vehicle show and Tymon has now taken legal action against Jeremy and the beeb for the altercation.
Simonstone Hall in the Yorkshire Dales shared a picture of the plaque, donated by a hotel guest, on Facebook. We think it would be quite appropriate to put it on the patio where the fracas took place!!
Jeremy hasn’t yet commented on the tribute, but something tells us that he will definitely see the amusing side… “The rest is legend”.

Instead of returning to the BBC after six months’ leave, Tymon is now suing Clarkson for racial harassment and personal injury, and is seeking at least £100,000 damages from him and the corporation.
Clarkson is now making a show with fellow former presenters James May and Richard Hammond for rival subscription service Amazon Prime, while Chris Evans is fronting a new version of Top Gear that is scheduled to air next year.

Born in Doncaster in 1960, Clarkson, 55, spent his early career in local newspapers before moving into television.
