Hope Solo: ‘Seventeen f—— years and it’s over!’
Well it turns out that while the former star goalkeeper found out her National Team days were over, the cameras were rolling for a documentary she is participating in called “Keeping Score”. “Six-month suspension, no pay, terminated contract, effective immediately”, she said to the camera crew nearby.

Yeah, she wasn’t happy about it.
“17 fucking years and it’s over”, she screams before breaking down into tears.
Solo was in a room next to where Jill Ellis, the national women’s team coach, and Dan Flynn of U.S. Soccer had told her of her suspension/termination.
Solo was suspended for calling Sweden “cowards” for the way they played in their Olympic quarterfinal win over the U.S. The 35-year-old plans to appeal the ruling.

Solo leaves a complicated legacy. Maybe it’s appropriate that she’s going out in a blaze of curse words. Solo and many players on the USWNT have been being followed and recorded for an upcoming docu-series entitled, “Keeping Score.”
