This will be the third time that Wisconsin will be an underdog this season.

Last season, Michigan State demonstrated the importance of third-down-conversion rate by leading the Big Ten in that category en route to winning the conference title.

OXFORD, Miss. – Chad Kelly threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score to help MS break a 10-game losing streak in the series dating to 1996. The Badgers converted 7-of-16 on third down, and converted two more fourth down tries.

Key play: Defensive tackle Kevin Williams recovered Alex Hornibrook’s fumble at the UW 47. “I choose not to stand up and I sit down and pray”, the second-year guard said.

Making your first career start in East Lansing against a top-10 team in Michigan State is no easy assignment. “Just go out there, do us and have fun”.

As for Oklahoma, though, it had a bye in Week 4 after a tough home loss at the hands of Ohio State, dropping the Sooners to 1-2 on the year and No. 25 in the AP Poll.

Wisconsin (10-1, 2-0 Big Ten) needed little time to warm up, running to an 8-1 lead with the help of four consecutive service aces from Carlini, tying her career high.

The fumble by LJ Scott that was returned for 66 yards for a touchdown seemingly took all momentum away from the Spartans for the remainder of the game, even though it was only 20-6 at that time.

“I’ve been lucky. I’ve been around some really good defenses and yet today, it was big,”Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst said of the defensive outing”. It was a big stop right there, and I thought the interception where (Shelton) got it and the offense was able to capitalize.

The Spartans looked like world-beaters during a majority of their game at South Bend last week, building a 36-7 lead en route to a 36-28 victory. The Wolverines offense has been special, scoring over 40 points in every game and they will need to continue that success at home on Saturday. In the clip above, you’ll see freshman player Darrel Stewart walked past his coach, Dantonio’s body was completely eclipsed on the TV screen by Stewart’s presence, and within a split second viewers couldn’t see Dantonio anymore. The Badgers (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) were the better team in the first half and then outscored the Spartans 17-0 in the third quarter. “That’s what we were banking on”.

“We were just thinking positively at that point”, Dantonio said. “I think it’s one thing when a coach believes in you, but he believes in everybody in that group”. Cook pounded the USF defense for 267 yards and two touchdowns and caught four passes for 62 yards.

The Spartans gifted another touchdown to the Badgers a little more than a minute later. He played like a veteran who wasn’t fazed by a hostile Michigan State crowd. Dobbs then hit wide receiver Jauan Jennings for a juggling 67-yard score down the right sideline with 12:45 left in the game, giving Tennessee its first lead of the day. A lot of those yards came in the second half when the Spartans had to throw to try and get back in the game.

Credit also must be given to the Wisconsin defense. It doesn’t matter if people or the media or whoever, if they believe in us as a secondary or not. “But it’s also on me to put the ball in a good spot and not make a bad play worse for us”. Despite jumping out to a 3-2 advantage, the Buckeyes quickly lost that lead on its own accord, as a string of OSU errors gave the Badgers the edge.
