A horse who is known now a days for her age – as she could be the first horse who is going to complete 50 years.

As we all know that the life span of a normal horse is 25-30 years but this horse, named as Orchid, is of 49 year old.
Reports says that she was rescued around two years ago and brought to the Remus horse sanctuary in Brentwood, Essex, where she recovered under the eyes of vets.
The founder of the sanctuary, Sue Burton, said “When Orchid was originally found she was laying on the floor, emaciated and full of sores and had given up. To see her today running, bucking and rolling is so heart-warming”.
