A video was uploaded on YouTube showing a horse running madly over the busy streets of New Yorks.
The horse, named Barney, who was later chased and held by the police, started running blindly after he broke off from the handlers hands.
Christina Hansen, a spokesperson for the Horse and Carriage Association of New York City, told pix11.com: “This doesn’t happen often, we have a stellar safety record.”
However, there is no news of any type serious injuries to the horse.
