“The Bachelorette” season 12’s victor is said to be Jordan Rodgers but the controversial suitor’s intentions is being doubted by some fans. And Chris Harrison pops up to tell the guys there are three one-on-one dates and one group date happening – basically a lot of action to distract from the fact that, surely, the two guys getting cut will the two who got the “pity roses” last time around?! In a sneak peek look, JoJo tells the cameras that she didn’t realize how “deep” the “wound” is between Jordan and Aaron. For the last date, JoJo and Luke went horseback riding and skeet shooting.
Rodgers revealed that if JoJo went home with him, she’d meet parents, Darla and Ed; his oldest brother, Luke; and Luke’s dog, Carl.
So we guess Aaron will not be making an appearance when JoJo joins Jordan for a hometown date next week, but we bet at least some of the drama between them will be there. But Jordan quickly followed up to say that he doesn’t hold it against him. Over dinner, between makeouts, Jordan talks more about his family and his strained relationship with his NFL QB bro Aaron. For reasons that will never make any sense, Chris Harrison arranged for JoJo and Jordan to squish grapes with their feet – which definitely weren’t cleaned beforehand.
“My middle brother won’t be there”, he said. “I chose to stay close to my family and my parents, and my [other] brother”.
The younger Rodgers does attempt to throw his brother a bone, saying that he can’t imagine the kind of pressure Aaron must be under, and the demands he must face from people – likely because the rigors of one year on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad can’t really compare to a career spent as one of the elite QBs of all time.
On a recent Garbage Time podcast with Katie Nolan, Rodgers said his relationship with his brother was “complicated”.
“Not really”, Aaron confirmed. Alex tells Host Chris that he’s feeling confused and Host Chris tells him that JoJo is a strong, independent woman.
On a brighter note, Jordan told JoJo he was “so in love” with her, which made JoJo very happy. “(I) don’t have hard feelings against him”. As Chase put it, “Dude, relax, we get it. We know you didn’t get a one-on-one and now you got it, so shut up”. “I don’t feel as excited as I should feel, and that kills me”, she said.

Alex gets the first one-on-one date, and JoJo takes him to the countryside for a gaucho experience, which is really just an excuse for the producers to make the poor dude look as much like Lord Farquaad as possible. Aaron apparently made some life choices that Jordan doesn’t agree with – like being a successful accomplished football player.
