This Giulia is a return to Alfa’s history of driver’s sedans.

The new Volkswagen Dune makes its debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 18, 2015, in Los Angeles, California. The sporty sedan is due in showrooms next summer.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia will be available in rear- and four-wheel drive.
It has 505 horsepower and 473 pound-feet of torque from its 3.0-liter turbo V6 that Alfa says is “Ferrari-derived”, which we already know screams. If you’re less hands-on, an automatic with paddle shifters will be available. Bigland added that the Giulia would be priced in the neighborhood of $70,000. For a bespoke look, Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio also offers a two-tone Black with Ice interior combination with signature Green and White Quadrifoglio accent stitching that pulls from Alfa Romeo’s historic and high-performance logo. For the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the platform incorporates double wishbone suspension up front and a multi-link setup in the rear. All-wheel-drive will be an option. The hot V6 will also feature cylinder deactivation to help pump up fuel economy and EPA numbers. The Giulia’s driveshaft, hood, front seat frames and roof are just a few of the places carbon fiber is used. Aluminum, magnesium and composite components contribute to the Giulia’s 50/50 weight distribution.
The front end is classic Alfa Romeo with the distinct triangular grill design. A 7-inch driver display is joined with a 3D Navigation system on the 8.8-inch widescreen display in the center stack. With the most direct steering in the segment, Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio can tackle high lateral accelerations as a result of the always ideal footprint.
The 4C drives so well that it’s been called a “Ferrari for half the price”, which gives you an idea of what Alfa Romeo is aspiring to be in its second go-around stateside.
The L.A. Auto Show is still a hotbed for hybrid/electrics, luxury and performance vehicles, as well as high-tech debuts with all the connected-car and active-safety features out now. The other ingredient is passion. Cars like the Giulia and Berlina are what Alfa is known for.
