According the report, the business man, Edward Heaton, was at exclusive Wellesley Hotel in swanky Knightsbridge for a meeting when he ordered three bottles of water, which typically cost 60p in supermarkets.

After looking at the bill which was around £75, he left stunned. He looked at the waitress to confirm if there was any mistake, but she clearly said there was no any mistake.

He at that time didn’t want to make scene, so paid the bill and left.

He came back after some time to complain, but instead, hotel official explained that there was a minimum charge of £25 per person when using its bar after 4pm.

He then asked that why there was no anyone to explain the minimum spend or why this was not mentioned in the menu.

For this, the hotel apologized and said they will take care of it.
