Hotel Delivers Big Time on Guy’s Weird Jeff Goldblum-Related Request
When Seth Freedland made a reservation for he and his girlfriend Amy at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, a hotel employee asked if he had any special requests for his stay.

Sure, extra towels and pillows can be great, but one traveler recently took unusual hotel requests to a new level at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, California. “Specifically, she’s a big fan of “Independence Day”-era “heroic Goldblum.’ I’m more a ‘Big Chill” Goldblum man myself, but you really can’t go wrong”.
And, yes, Marsh was delighted.
“I thought about it, and thought about what might delight the girlfriend”, he wrote in a Facebook post.
So was Freedland ― though he had an idea of what was going to happen when he was at the hotel desk. “The front desk clerk understandably didn’t know this was a surprise and had me sign the little receipt for it and said, ‘for the frames'”.
How any person on this planet would actually be more comfortable when staring down an 8×12 of Jeff Goldblum on the toilet is beyond me, but you have to appreciate the staff of the Huntley for going above and beyond in regards to customer service here.
“We said to ourselves, ‘We can meet this!'”
A hotel in San Antonio a year ago met a similar request when a woman jokingly asked that a photo of Nicolas Cage from his movie “Con Air” be placed in her room.
“We absolutely took the photos!”

Freedland said he was unsure if the request would be honored, but arrived to find three different photos of Goldblum at various points in his career.
