The same day investigators looking into the state’s role in causing, and potentially worsening the crisis, told reporters that the investigation could turn criminal with potential charges of manslaughter or misconduct in office.

Calling the situation a failure of government, Clinton said “All Americans have a particular responsibility to ensure that flint receives the support that it needs today, but also for generations to come”.

Officials announced Wednesday that representatives of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and licensed plumbers will visit about 400 homes citywide to teach homeowners how to accurately test water so they can submit regular samples for analysis.

The NAACP has engaged the law firm of WilmerHale LLP to assist its Legal Department in working with the DOJ to protect the rights of the people of Flint.

“We need that other $30 million, too, whether from the state or the federal government or both”, Weaver said Wednesday in testimony before the House Democrats’ Steering and Policy Committee. Flo Rida, like most of the world, was fed up and frustrated with the state’s choice to cut costs by drawing lead-contaminated drinking water from the Flint River.

Money for Flint may be included in a $1.8 billion spending request Obama has made to combat the Zika virus, but no decisions have been made, Kildee said.

“The email seems to reflect someone summarizing a discussion at a meeting, and we are unsure what actually was said there”, Snyder Press Secretary Dave Murray said, according to the newspaper report.

“At the very least we need methodical removal of all lead service lines and funding to removal of these lines has to become a national priority …”

“The children of Flint are just as precious as the children of any part of America”, she said at the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church. Former Flint Mayor Dayne Walling also has been invited, as well as Miguel Del Toral, an EPA water expert who wrote a June 2015 memo about lead problems in Flint that was not made public for months.

Governor Rick Snyder had to push past a throng of protesters as he prepared to present his budget plan for the coming fiscal year.

Flint is under a state of emergency because of lead-tainted water.

The rates of lead in children living in areas with the highest reported lead-water levels had more than tripled, she said.

Snyder toured the facility and then helped prepare non-perishable food for the Flint community.

Snyder and legislators previously directed more than $37 million toward the crisis, including funds for bottled water, filters and services. It also requires utilities to identify and provide notice to residents who may be affected by higher levels of lead because of lead content in pipes and other portions of the public water system. “Let’s take care of it and let’s address the needs of citizens across MI”.
