Houston Astros’ Carlos Correa wins AL Rookie of the Year
Correa won a close race with Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor, finishing first in the balloting by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.

Correa also batted.284/.342/.569 with runners in scoring position, and with runners on base he put up a slash line of.293/.359/.569. The 2015 Rookie of the Year owned a 4.1 WAR in 2015 which ranked 41st in all of baseball.
