You’d think Saints head coach Sean Payton might have been inclined to pull Brees after this play to preserve his health.

We should see more of the starters in this game, and fans certainly want to see some improvement from second year offensive lineman Andrus Peat.

The Saints played the game without their top two wide receivers, Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead, and the passing attack will obviously be better with them.
The offensive line couldn’t protect Brees, and they couldn’t create openings for the running backs (26 carries, 82 yards, 3.2 avg). “I think overall we do have a pretty good skill set of skilled players on our team”.
Coleman will have two more weeks to show he can improve upon the things the coaching staff is looking for out of him. Very competitive position, we know what Alfred can do.
