How Ben Affleck’s Dedication Likely Helped Batman V Superman Improve

Ben Affleck wasn’t just an actor while playing Batman on the set of Warner Bros.’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as he reputedly re-wrote some of the script according to Us Weekly.

Goyer and Affleck’s Argo writer Chris Terrio are credited as the film’s official co-writers, but US Magazine alleges Affleck played an unofficial part during filming – and didn’t even give himself time to change clothes for it.

He might bleed a hell of a lot more in Batman v Superman’s home video release – which has surprisingly been rated R (roughly the equivalent of a 15 certificate in the United Kingdom by the British Board of Film Classification). Apparently, he “wasn’t thrilled with it and would find himself on multiple occasions fixing it the day of”.

What do you think about Affleck rewriting scenes on the fly? Many of you will remember that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was originally supposed to come out last July, but it was eventually moved in order for the filmmakers to “fully realize their vision”.
