How Celebrities Are Reacting To Trump’s #MuslimBan
Donald Trump is ready to sign his “extreme vetting” plan that would ban immigration from Muslim countries.

In a statement, she referred to reports that Trump would give Christians priority over Muslims on decisions on whom to allow into the country, “flies in the face of our sacred value of liberty and freedom of religion”. “No, it’s not the Muslim ban, but it’s countries that have tremendous terror”, Trump said. Excluded from the lists are several majority-Muslim nations where the Trump Organization is active and which in some cases have also faced troublesome issues with terrorism.
Mr Gauke told BBC One’s The Andrew Marr Show: “There is a particular concern that has emerged over the course of yesterday over the implications for British nationals, which is particular concern for us”.
Many celebrities who have been actively challenging Trump’s presidency criticized the refugee ban by sharing personal anecdotes and calls to action on social media. Trump’s order also bans the resettlement of refugees for four months and indefinitely suspends the entry of Syrian refugees.
The ruling, a temporary emergency stay, now allows those who landed in the USA and hold a valid visa to remain.
“I think it’s a good idea to tighten the vetting process”, Senate Majority Mitch McConnell said on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.
As numerous foreign citizens were detained at airports around the globe, triggering spontaneous protests, part of Trump’s executive order was temporarily blocked by a federal judge in NY. The decision has drawn large protests at many USA airports, where some travelers from those countries have been stranded.
But US diplomatic cables released by whistleblowing website, Wikileaks, revealed that private individuals in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states friendly to the United States are the chief source of funding for al Qaeda, the Taliban and other terrorist groups.

Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to Trump, noted that the order only affected a small percentage of travelers, and she emphasized that it is temporary.
