How Dallas cops used remote-controlled robot to kill shooter
He said he and his officers are worn out enough that Arlington police will work with the Secret Service for President Obama’s visit to Dallas on Tuesday.

Two Dallas bomb-squad officers operating the remote-controlled device that blew up cop-hating mass murderer Micah Johnson were given only one instruction by their boss.
“This is the best department in the country, and I’m proud to be associated with the men and women of the Dallas Police Department”, he said.
Johnson’s father, James Johnson, said in an interview posted on TheBlaze website Monday that he “didn’t see it coming”.
The gunman who killed five police officers in Dallas was “changed” by his experience in the USA military, his mother has said. If something like that were to happen in this area, White Plains and county police have the technology to make a similar call.
While the robots can be highly expensive, upward of $100,000, Chong says the technology is worth every dollar.
Police Chief added that Johnson made fun of the police members and expressed his desire to kill white people as a revenge for the black people killed by the police. Months after he became chief, his 27-year-old son, David Brown Jr., was shot to death by police after killing two officers. “We’re going to take you down, ‘ and he chose the latter”, said Mayor Mike Rawlings.
The shootings just a few blocks from where President John F. Kennedy was slain in 1963 marked the deadliest day for US law enforcement since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. About 30 agents are involved in identifying bullet casings, said William Temple, the Dallas agent in charge for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The large crime scene includes the parking garage where Johnson was killed and at least two other sites where he is believed to have fired at officers. “We feel like the biggest gang is the police out here because they face no repercussions”.
Video showed protesters marching along a downtown street about half a mile from City Hall when shots erupted and the crowd scattered, seeking cover.
He said the department has misspoke for days and that Johnson died inside El Centro Community College.
Brown provided details of authorities’ negotiations with Johnson on Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union”, saying Johnson “obviously had some delusion” as evidenced by rambling journal entries and writing “RB” and other markings in blood on walls near the shooting site – the meanings of which were unclear and being looked at by investigators.

Abbott was also guarding the entrance. Its number of wounded did not include any El Centro College officers.
