How Did The Lights Go Out On The ‘Nashville’ Series Finale?
Rayna is anxious because Maddie (Lennon Stella), post-emancipation, is working with a producer who once got handsy with Rayna way back when and, naturally, she is anxious the sleazeball will try the same with Maddie. “And her heart wasn’t in it to focus on the show”. Did you watch the last episode?

Charles “Chip” Esten (Deacon) recently tweeted: “Hey, #Nashies: THANK YOU for all the love in action”, while Aubrey Peeples (Layla) tweeted, “Thank you so much for keeping us trending #Nashies #BringBackNashville so overwhelmed with love” and Sam Palladio (Gunnar) added “Hey #Nashies you guys are killing it with #BringBackNashville”.
It worked like a standard season finale, as if Nashville would be back for a fifth season and we would all learn whether Juliette lived or died. “Meanwhile, Juliette must decide how to publicly address the truth of Jeff’s death; Will becomes a leader for a cause; and a music duo consider parting ways”.
Nashvillians – and country music fans across the globe – have always loved a good fight.
One of Nashville’s favorite couples, Scarlett and Gunnar, haven’t talked since he went with Autumn to see Elton John, and she did her photo shoot.
And then Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) may have died in a plane crash. And frankly, I wouldn’t blame her. No such luck, since Rayna finds out that Maddie is about to be courted by someone even more manipulative from her past.
Maddie meets with Ms Donovan, the label head. While there, Maddie finally sees the letter Rayna wrote her. Vince comes in with a drink for Maddie and starts coming on to her. Why does every mistake she make get swept under the rug so quickly? She takes a selfie and tweets it. Luke skypes with Colt who has recovered and is doing well. The guilt is too much and although she originally had no plans to do red carpet interviews before the show, she asks for a sit-down as soon as she gets out of the vehicle. Juliette does not want any sympathy. It seems that Scarlett is finally ready to stop running from her feelings just as Gunnar is moving on with another woman. Enter Britton’s character. She’s a Katharine Graham type, who is impeccably stylish but can flip magazine pages with a fierceness you’ve never seen.
The most significant difference in the approaches taken by “Nashville” and “Jane the Virgin” comes in a quiet scene in which Petra is first confronted with the idea that she may be depressed. She sees wedding rings. They break the news to their manager that The Exes are breaking up and, duh, their manager is livid.
Rayna tells Deacon that Daphne is anxious.

In the end, all was restored for Rayna, Deacon, Maddie and Daphne. They freak out. Juliette whines to Glenn about another dinner. Juliette refuses to get on the phone with Avery to talk about the case with him, and she also tells him not to come to Los Angeles. “We have stories left to tell and songs left to sing”. She says she doesn’t know how she got out of there. With Luke’s encouragement, Will reunites with Kevin.
