How do I fix my Lightning EarPods when the remote stops responding?
Vietnamese website Tinhte has shared a teardown of Apple’s new Lightning EarPods and Lightning-to-3.5mm headphone jack adapter included in the box with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. While these are decent fixes for now, here’s to hoping we won’t have to head to the Apple store soon after splurging on their newest device. His tweet reads, “PSA: Lightning headphone adapter shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity if screen is off. Pause/volume don’t work until replugging”, followed by another tweet which said “And by “inactivity” I meant not playing audio”.

It’s not affecting everyone, and Apple has acknowledged the problem, telling Business Insider it will issue a software update in the future to fix it.
Apple explained that removing the headphone jack allowed it to use that space for other things, such as making the iPhone 7 water-resistant, adding a bigger battery, better cameras and a Taptic Engine, but issues like this don’t really help its case.
But as Business Insider reports, numerous users have been experiencing problems with the Lightning EarPods on the new iPhones. Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus go on sale in October 7 in India with a starting price of Rs 60,000 for the iPhone 7, and Rs 72,000 for the Plus version.
