How Do You Rewind Instagram Stories? It’s Pretty Simple

Snapchat, which has more than 100 million users, recently released “Memories”, a feature that allows users to upload photos and videos from their camera rolls in an effort to compete with other platforms.

Instagram Stories allows you to post collections of photos; these photos disappear after 24 hours. Stories will let you post as many photos and videos you want and add text, drawings, and emoji, too.

The social network has today launched Instagram Stories, which lets users bring together multiple pictures and videos into a slideshow that’s suspiciously similar to Snapchat. There are also features to block certain people from viewing your stories, and, like Snapchat, you can see who else has viewed your stories.

So as you can see, there’s plenty of similarities between Instagram’s stories feature and Snapchat’s stories feature. If you want to respond to a friend’s story, you can do that, but your message will go to their inbox as Instagram Direct.

Instagram has begun rolling out a new feature to their iOS and Android apps called “Stories”…

“Instagram has always been a place to share the moments you want to remember”.

However, you can also choose to hide your story from specific people by deselecting them in your list of followers.

Instagram takes a page out of Snapchat’s playbook.

Instagram have seen the rapid success of Snapchat and decided they want a piece of the action. There’s very little interaction, but that could change with Instagram Stories. For those who have a public account, it is visible to anyone on Instagram.

On Tuesday, the Facebook-owned photo sharing app unveiled Stories, where users post photos and videos summing up their days.

If disappearing content sounds familiar that’s because, well, it’s sort of Snapchat’s thing. Instagram users will be able to see a list of people who have viewed their Stories Feed in the past 24 hours – a feature not available in the regular Instagram feed.
