In the clip, Gandolph McKellen sits down to share “some of my favorite lyrics” – Swift’s “Bad Blood” and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” – and the results are awesome. “So @IanMcKellen recited Bad Blood and I did Blank Space on @NPRAskMeAnother”, Stewart, 75, tweeted on Thursday, July 16.
Legendary BFFs Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen have now both given dramatic readings of popular Taylor Swift songs, to great effect.
It seems Swift is totally up for it. “You’ve made my day”, she said on Twitter after she saw the two lyric readings, adding that the duo are her “ultimate squad goals”.
Sir Ian used his gravitas and recognisable voice to read the words to Bad Blood when promoting his latest film Mr Holmes.
