These devices all came out of the box bearing the new Windows 10 update. If your allegiance to either is strong enough, it’s hard to imagine any amount of hardware finesse that would compel a switch. The Microsoft Surface Book may probably be the laptops that will fiercely rival Apple’s Macbook.

The Surface Book by Microsoft is expected to be atleast two times faster than the 13-inch MacBook pro while the discrete GPU that it has keeps it at upper hand. It also launched the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL featuring 5.2- and 5.7-inch screens, which will be priced at $549 (about Rs 35,780) and $649 (about Rs 42,300), respectively.

It is powered by the latest Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, from the Skylake family. It’ll also have a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB RAM making this one of the most powerful Windows phones and of course, it’ll be running Windows 10. Microsoft is counting on Windows 10, to help triumph a superior share of the market which consists of tablets and smartphones, which are dominated by Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung.

Earlier in July of this year, Microsoft announced that the handsets that will most likely get the update include the Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 535, Lumia 532, Lumia 540, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 640, Lumia 830, Lumia 735 and the Lumia 930. It also sports a better Type Cover (the keyboard that attaches to the display): it’s thinner and has a bigger trackpad (40 percent larger) than the Surface Pro 3.

CNN reported that what makes the Microsoft Surface Book unique is its mechanical hinge. Despite the tandem, sales of said phones are still far from being on par with other more popular mobile devices.

Also, each experience is independent and uninterrupted, which means that while you are using desktop, you can still navigate your phone as per usual by going back to the start menu and open up another app.
