How Rubio plans to take on Trump: Attrition

To underline his point, Rubio told the crowd how Ernst, as a child, used bread bags to keep her shoes dry in the rain and snow, reiterating a story she shared a year ago while giving the GOP response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.
“Whether it’s Jeb or Christie or Rubio or Kasich or (Carly) Fiorina, they all have a path”, he said. Both of them were underdogs in their respective Senate races, he said, taking on more establishment-friendly candidates.

Like Rubio, Kyl collaborated on an unsuccessful comprehensive immigration-reform plan that drew the ire of some “anti-amnesty” activists on the right.
