How to book an Uber cab without an app

This facility allows users to book cabs by directly visiting the company’s mobile website dial.uber.com, especially if you are in Nagpur, Kochi, Guwahati, and Jodhpur.

But, those worries now seem to fly far away as cab aggregator Uber has recently announced that users can book a cab without the need of the app. The idea, according to Uber, is to make it easier for people to order rides in areas with poor internet connectivity. To book a cab, interested riders can simply plug in their phone number to authenticate. Besides Nagpur, dial an Uber is now available in the cities of Nagpur, Kochi, Guwahati, and Jodhpur.

Users also have the option to request a ride for friends or family members who don’t have a smartphone. The request a ride for others is also a new addition as those who don’t own a smartphone can now order an Uber ride in seconds.

Obviously having users download your app is the primary goal for any company since that helps keep engagement high and bookings regular, but offering an alternative is necessary to cover the bases.

Uber, the American Multinational online transportation network company, is one of the best when it comes to transport.

Once booked, the passenger receives a text message with the trip details, including a URL to track the driver who is on route to collect them. To pay for the trip, the rider can pay the driver in cash or the person who ordered the cab can pay with a credit card.

Uber is now available in 27 cities in India and many believe the company will focus on the second most populous country after reaching a deal with Didi in China a few weeks ago.
