The AirPods have a micro processing chip inside it known as the W1 (brains of the AirPods) which helps it to function a lot more exclusive than a normal wireless headphone.
Apple products are more than just the latest gizmos on the market. The Pods get five hours of play on a single charge, and the charging box holds as much as 25 hours of juice.
W1 also manages a unique connection for each AirPods.
Neither device features a headphone jack.
