How to exchange your Samsung Galaxy Note 7

For customers who already have Galaxy Note7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks.

“If you have pre-ordered your Galaxy Note7 and you are waiting for delivery: we apologise that you have not received your new Galaxy Note7”. But the company has been facing a serious problem with the device these last few days.

This may be a small number compared to the overall units sold worldwide, however, they could potentially be disastrous.

In February the International Civil Aviation Organisation banned lithium-ion batteries from checked luggage following concerns from experts that they presented a fire risk.

If a full, proper recall was initiated, the FAA would nearly certainly prohibit the Galaxy Note 7.

The recall resulted in a almost $7 billion loss for Samsung’s share value this week. At least two incidents have been reported.

Samsung recalled its smartphone earlier this month, saying that a portion of the Note 7s could have batteries prone to overheating and exploding. The FAA is reportedly working on guidance for airlines in the USA concerning the issue with the Galaxy Note 7 and fire risk. One of my finger was also burned when I threw the handset to the floor, Tham Hua, from Victoria state, said.

Dornacher said in a Facebook post that his Note 7 was charging in the auto at the time of the explosion.

The man only burned his finger but the phablet did some damage to the hotel room.

While Samsung itself didn’t state the option for a full refund, T-Mobile in the USA has offered its customers full refunds on the purchase of a Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung did not say whether customers should stop using their phones, or whether explosions and fires could happen when the phone wasn’t charging. The Korean company has stopped sourcing Note 7 batteries from its subsidiary Samsung SDI.

The Galaxy Note 7 isn’t explicitly banned from the flights the airlines make, but the device is banned from being plugged into in flight entertainment systems via USB ports.
