How to Fix iPhone Random Restarts and Blue Screen of Death – TechFrag
It’s not totally clear what has caused it, but some suggest it could be a buggy carrier update that T-Mobile has quietly pushed out to its customers.

In the very severest of cases, users report their iPhone crashing to a “blue screen of death” and restarting as often as every 10 to 30 minutes. However, Reddit user Geophyzze posted that they called the carrier’s support staff and got the impression from a technician that they believe it is a memory problem, and that many customers are calling about it. At one point I was texting my SO about it, the screen turned blue for maybe 2 seconds and it restarted. Several people were able to alleviate the issue by doing a hard reset on their device.
Reports of the issue have been turning up online everywhere from Twitter and Facebook, to Reddit and Apple’s own support forums.
Some users that experienced problems said a work around the glitch was to disable the Wi-Fi calling in their settings. For people who still keep getting the blue screen, T-Mobile says to delete the phone’s text messages. To solve this issue, T-Mobile and Apple will have to investigate the problem, create a fix and then release it to the public.
The person also noted the same thing started happening to his significant other’s phone, and they are both on T-Mobile. And if all else fails, users need to back up their devices and do a full factory restore in iTunes. Since the latest operating system version for the iPhone has been rolled out for a while, it is less likely that the problem started to appear after a recent update or download.
Some users have had success stopping the restarts with a hard reset, and that’s the solution that T-Mobile is recommending to customers who call in.
