How to Get Away With Murder Recap: Can You Trust Annalise?
The key that Frank “accidentally” left lying around was a to draw them in. “Only if you make me scream.” – and Connor tells Oliver he loves him. In tonight’s episode, Asher discovers not everything is what it seems when you work for Annalise.

Bonnie makes one last attempt to discourage Asher from testifying, but he ignores her. When he leaves, Bonnie calls Annalise and breaks down.
The most suspicious character this episode (and why): Annalise. But when she gets back to the vehicle, Asher is as gone as Amy Dunne in that Gillian Flynn novel. When Asher worries that his father is still in danger, he reveals he cut his own protection deal and a fight ensues. Remember that this is all a lie as Bonnie is trying to protect Annalise. Annalise also tries to dissuade Asher from testifying. She’s holding a few of Bonnie’s darkest secrets. Bonnie pulls into a gas station to use the restroom and wash off the blood.
Bonnie meets up with Asher at the bar to plead with him to not testify. So, naturally, they decide to jokingly go out with a bang, literally and plan an orgy. OK, where is Rebecca’s body?! Before we can see what he’s up to, Asher bursts into the office.
Meanwhile, Annalise sits Asher down in the creepy silence of his own home to share footage of the bad thing that happened to Bonnie as a child. The interns are officially freaking out because they have no idea what the Asher/Annalise meeting was about. Connor has given up after Anna’s threat last week. She wants him to watch a recording of a young Bonnie being molested by her father. Pros: 1) Connor (with help from Laurel) can give Michaela the screaming orgasm she so clearly needs.
Instead of working, Laurel and Frank sneak off how to get intimate. When they find a suitcase full of money, Laurel, Michaela and Connor are angry with Wes for leading them down this path. We then find out Frank set up Wes. How could we expect anything less from Laurel and Frank, though? The fact of the matter is that the lie affects them all profoundly.
Here is where things really get interesting. She visits Nate and tells him the truth about Nia. OBVIOUSLY! That’s 73 percent of what this heifer does. Annalise uses the video later that day at 5 pm in a hearing with the judge and ADA Sinclair but because she can’t show support that she obtained it legally, the judge sides with the ADA and allows the dead aunt’s testimony into evidence. Nope! What about Eve?
In the present time, Bonnie and Asher had an emotional scene where the former told the latter about her real feelings for him.
Back at Annalise’s, everyone is there. Steal. This is what happens when you have sex. You lose focus because too much energy was spent blowing a back out. Anyway, Frank and Bonnie meet with Anna privately and assure her that they have everything under control. It’s adorable. They go, see Frank’s friend, Cemetery Guy, and demand he explain what Frank was doing with him, Levi going so far as to draw a gun on the poor grave-digger. She then tells him that Bonnie killed Sam in self-defense, and I start to laugh. He also outs Levi as Eggs 911. Wes insists on opening it, and inside there is only a stash of cash. At the same time, Levi is arrested for having drugs in his auto.
What they don’t know about this piece of information, which really shows how committed Frank is to Annalise, is that he, Annie and Bonnie were tipped off that West is up to something thanks to Annie seeing him and Nate at the hospital. Well, she did commit murder just not that particular one. And she’s also a highly manipulative stone-cold LIAR. And how do you feel about Bonnie now, knowing her horrific childhood history? Frank automatically assumes it’s because they are “screwing”. Wes being Wes stops Levi and nicely asks the guy and voila! Wes reveals Levi’s connection to Rebecca to the other students. Second, nobody took the money from the case. There’s no way Annalise is going to let that happen. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This is so ridic. She even drops the L word to convince him.

Unfortunately, being a raving racist isn’t enough to discredit all of her testimony against them, although it does show bias.
