The No. 22 Iowa Hawkeyes will host the Illinois Fighting Illini at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday at noon.
Freshman Ke’Shawn Vaughn took over for Ferguson on Saturday and was the only other Illini back to carry the ball. Quarterback CJ Beathered threw four 71 yards and one touchdown in 9 of 21 passes. The Hawkeyes also like to run the football with Jordan Canzeri, who has eight touchdowns on the ground. The team failed to show up in a 48-14 loss to North Carolina a few weeks back, but aside from that and a tight win over Middle Tennessee State, the Illini have been very impressive offensively.
