HP CEO Meg Whitman compares Donald Trump to Hitler and Mussolini
Mitt Romney warned on Saturday that Donald Trump threatens to cause “trickle-down racism” and, choking back tears, said the effect of the presumptive Republican nominee on their party “is breaking my heart”. When Romney told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer here that a Trump presidency would mean “trickle-down racism, trickle-down bigotry, trickle-down misogyny”, Priebus rushed to Trump’s defense.

One of the toughest questions for Ryan came from Meg Whitman, the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard and a longtime friend of Romney’s who helped bankroll a Republican anti-Trump super PAC this spring.
But Romney was also challenged by some questioners who were trying to whip up support for Trump.
Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump took aim at Sen.
During a rally in Richmond on Friday night, Trump revealed that he’d like to bring some more life and star power to the convention by inviting prominent sports figures to speak.
“I really understand both points of view about the pro- and contra-Trump setting, and respect people on both sides of this”, he said.
Most recently, he has repeatedly accused the judge overseeing two lawsuits involving the billionaire’s Trump University of being biased against him because he is Mexican.
On Friday, at a Christian evangelical conference, Trump offered a message of ethnic harmony as he sought to calm concerns about his criticism of the Mexican-American judge. Some of them say his comments were racist, but today, Trump said those comments were misconstrued and he is “the least racist person there is”. And Romney lost – convincingly – to President Obama, who got almost 66 million votes.
Mr. Trump, a real estate mogul, has long bragged of his ability to self-fund his primary campaign, both because of his huge fortune and because the media’s propensity to follow his every move gave him so much free press.
Donald Trump on Saturday again took aim at Elizabeth Warren on Twitter, continuing the feud between the Republican presumptive nominee and Democratic senator from MA.
A reflective Romney pointed out the mistakes that other Republicans in this year’s presidential race, including Jeb Bush and senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, made during the primary contest.
“New York attracts very aggressive, high quality, high performing individuals”, says Sharyn O’Halloran, professor of political economy and global and public affairs at Columbia University.
In an email to supporters Saturday, he said, “I thank you for everything you’ve shared with me and all the support you’ve given our campaign”. Presidents have an impact on the nature of our nation, and trickle down racism, trickle down bigotry, trickle down misogyny, all these things are extraordinarily risky to the heart and character of America.
Recall how Mitt went public March 3 with a scathing attack on Trump as a “fake” and how Trump promptly went up in the polls. GOP strategists and vocal Trump skeptics Stuart Stevens, Ana Navarro and Kristen Soltis Anderson told attendees to brace for a Clinton White House because Trump doesn’t appeal to growing voter blocs, including Latinos. All candidates can say anything that they want to say during the campaign, thanks to the constitutional right of freedom of speech. Clinton’s campaign and allies are eager to exploit Trump’s weaknesses with women in the suburbs of critical states: Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro in North Carolina; northern Virginia; the Denver area; and the counties around several of Ohio’s cities. He told reporters of plans to meet with Clinton in the near future and called for the party to come together to face Trump.
