HP EliteBook gain Sure View privacy screen option
Now HP has introduced a solution that offers the best of both worlds. With this tool, you can only see your laptop with a straight posture within the 70-degree arc. The add-on screen will be available to its users for an additional $75 only. HP’s Sure View feature has huge practical uses. All you’ll have to do is press F2 and your panel will instantly switch from the regular wide viewing mode to private mode.

HP Sure View helps users work more confidently from public locations without fear of data on the screen being exposed to others.
HP has made this pretty easy to activate the privacy mode.
It’s built to prevent visual hacking.
You may have read our headline literally, and thought ‘what’s the use of a screen you can’t see?’
Anyone who uses a laptop would know the discomfort that is caused when someone tries to peep over their shoulder and see what the person is looking at; however computer makers HP have chose to tackle the problem by manfucaturing a new range of laptops that would make it very hard for peeping toms to get to see the screen. That means you can easily view that a company A is partnering with a company B.
The feature is designed for enterprise users that want to protect sensitive data from spying eyes, and it’s initially available as an optional feature for two business-class notebooks, the HP Elitebook 1040 and HP EliteBook 840. They’ll be available in September, and it has a 1080p resolution. When it was off, the laptop screen was bright and clear, without any hint of a filter inside it. That is, it doesn’t appear to have a filter in it. So there are privacy filters that you can put on top of a display to limit the viewing angles. To get the full effect, however, HP dims the screen to a dark level.
Sneak watching other people’s laptop screen has been an issue for most users, who are compelled to look out for ways to hide their screen.
HP isn’t doing very well when it comes to computers.
