“The OMEN X Desktop was built for serious gamers who need fierce performance out-of-the-box in a fully customizable chassis something not typically available from traditional PC manufacturers”, said Kevin Frost, HP vice president and general manager, Consumer Personal Systems. The cube also boasts of a “revolutionary” thermal management thanks to its tri-chamber design and tool-less access to its internal parts, allowing for painless customization.
The Omen X features the latest graphics technology – up to dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 cards and up to dual AMD Radeon R9 Fury X cards. Not long ago, it launched the Omen gaming laptop series and now it has unveiled the Omen X gaming desktop.
The OMEN X’s cube design allows for localized liquid cooling solutions for the components apart from it just looking cool.
The HP OMEN X will be available at United States retailers starting October 16 and will start at $2,099.99.
The HP Omen 17 gaming laptop can be purchased in a variety of configurations and is subsequently suitable for a variety of roles, from hardcore gaming to professional applications. The case follows the Omen colour scheme of black and red along with related logos. Provided you have the needed peripherals, of course.
The OMEN X offerings are an extension of HP’s unified gaming portfolio announced in May to maximize gaming performance per dollar.
The HP OMEN 17 will be available on HP.com with a starting price of $1,599.99. That includes an OMEN X by HP Curved Display, which is still a rare type of monitor as far as gaming is concerned. The monitor supports NVIDIA G-SYNC for tear-free visuals.

To complement and enhance users’ experience with the new OMEN line-up, HP is collaborating with SteelSeries to introduce a line of accessories created to heighten gameplay and provide the utmost competitive advantage.
