HTC Desire 10 leaks in new renders

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Pro both have a metallic “gold opntour” design and a 5.5 inch screen in 720p on the Lifestyle and 1080p on the Pro. The smartphone will be available in two variants – 32GB storage variant with 3GB of RAM, and 64GB storage variant with 4GB of RAM. In terms of battery life, the Desire 10 Lifestyle could prove to be pretty decent, with a 2700mAh capacity battery expected to keep the lights on. It won’t be a speed demon with those specs, and probably won’t be the best phone for Android gaming, but for web browsing, streaming media, messaging, and apps, it should do just fine.

The Desire 10 lifestyle has the same audio hardware as the HTC 10 – that means High-Res audio support (again, we’ll have to see exactly what that’ll mean down the line), stereo external speakers, and a built-in headphone jack audio amplifier. The idea here is that you get flagship features for a non-flagship price, and they certainly look the part. The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle measures 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.7mm, in case you were wondering. A look at the smartphone’s specification sheet reveals that the Desire 10 Pro is the more premium variant and should be placed somewhere close to the Desire 830, while the Desire 10 Lifestyle will be placed close to the Desire 826. The Pro also has a fast fingerprint sensor on the back so you can unlock yur device or take a selfie.ones.

Of course, the big question is if we’ll see it here in the U.S. The launch is now slated for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia only.

The biggest thing that stands these two handsets apart from other devices already available is design. There is also a microSD card slot to expand the onboard memory.

Even the lower spec version of the Desire 10 Pro should be able to handle the latest games and applications from the Play Store, while Google’s Android Marshmallow operating system runs smoothly.

The HTC 10 is a truly compelling smartphone, and the company’s flagship for 2016.

During our brief hands on time with the Desire 10 Pro the camera was quick, and results serviceable – although the device we were using wasn’t running final software, so we can expect some fine-tuning between now and when the phone launches in October.

This is great for those still trying to get their heads around white balance, shutter speed and exposure values.

The front camera is 13-megapixels, offering a wide 150-degree mode for wide selfies.
