The Asus ZenFone 3 ZE552KL is the basic smartphone among the other two ZenFone 3 variants. The New Handset is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass coating on both front and back panels while an aluminum frame protects its internals. The phablet is slimmer and heavier, as it measures 152.6×77.4×7.7mm and weights 155 grams. A metal accent band runs around the edge of the device, offering the ZenFone 3 a classy and refined design. It measures 156.4 x 77.4 x 7.5 mm and weighs 170 grams. The bezel for this Zenfone comes in at a 79% screen to body ratio. The big question (pun intended) becomes, will people want to use a 6.8-inch smartphone? The Taiwanese giant, for the first time, released three different variants for its flagship device called the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. It’ll also come with 128GB storage. According to Asus’ recent press release regarding the new line of smartphones, the Ultra version of the ZenFone 3 also features a 4600 mAh battery. The device comes powered by flagship Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone is touted as the first smartphone worldwide to feature the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which is the first Snapdragon 600 Series processor with 14nm FinFET process technology. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is priced at $499, which might mean this handset is more expensive than the ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Ultra, but it’s also significantly more powerful than its siblings. There is also a MicroSD slot which is likely to mean that storage is also expandable.

Asus officially announced the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra during the Computex event in Taipei. The smartphone houses a 3,000 mAh battery. The ZenFone 3 series kicks off with three phones positioned at a variety of price points and form factors. 6 modem whereas the Deluxe model has LTE Cat. It is available in blue, white, gold, and black.
