HTC launches Desire 626 with 13-megapixel rear camera

The company has been coming out with a large number of devices, and their latest release is that of the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM. While the Taiwanese variant of Desire 626 came with a Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, the Indian variant is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz.

In the camera department, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera with a BSI sensor, f/22 aperture, 28mm lens and a LED flash. They are creating and consuming rich video content and want greater freedom to personalize their smartphones.

The new device will become available in the subcontinent soon, priced at INR 14,990 – which means about $220 or €198 at the current exchange rates. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera with 1080p video recording capabilities.

The phone will be available in two colours Blue and White.

According to Faisal Siddiqui, president of HTC South Asia, HTC fans are more often than not searching for a stylish 4G LTE-enabled smartphone. It gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The battery measures in at 2000mAh, and the 626 is running Android 5.1 under HTC’s proprietary Sense UI.

Coming to the Connectivity Options, The new HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM supports 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, A-GPS, DLNA, and FM radio connectivity options. Further to which he added, “At a remarkable price, the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM delivers the distinctive features with an outstanding user experience in a sleek, chic, slim package”.

The Taiwan-based smartphone and tablet manufacturer also equipped the device with 2,000 mAh battery, which is sufficient enough to keep the lights on for a period of time depending on usage.
