Under the hood is the Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. The company has not given any details about the pricing or availability of the smartphones yet but will announce them in the coming weeks. In its front lies an HTC UltraPixel fixed focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and it can also capture videos in full HD resolution. The A9 uses Android Marshmallow, customised with HTC’s own Sense users interface. In terms of software, this mid-range device is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top.

The HTC Desire 828 comes with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expandable option of up to 2TB via microSD card slot. Besides, it has Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi (ac), 5 pin micro USB port, 3.5 mm jack, Global Positioning System with GLONASS and a host of sensors (Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Motion G sensor, Compass sensor, Gyro sensor, Magnetic sensor, Sensor Hub, Fingerprint sensor).

The Desire 828 smartphone features 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 2TB.
