“MTN is excited to offer this niche smartphone to its customers who are looking for a smartphone that is distinct to what is now available in the market”.

The HTC One A9 also comes with HTC BoomSound integrated into the headset combined with Dolby Audio surround technology. “As we wind down the year for the festive season, this desirable and limited edition device would make a much-sought gift”, notes MTN SA’s sales and marketing exec Larry Annetts.

As for the smartphone’s specs, the Moto G 2015, regarded as a mid-end smartphone, comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow update – bringing in new features such as Now on Tap, Android Pay, Android Doze and more. The smartphone will sport a 4-megapixel UltraPixel front-facing fixed-focus camera. It will sip its power from a 2,800mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 with Sense like the One A9.

The One A9, which was unveiled globally a few weeks ago, is a phone that has polarised the world of phone enthusiasts.

Both devices have a rear camera of 13MP with optical image stabilization, but the One A9 supports an aperture of f/2.0 and dual-LED flash, while the Vista 2 has an aperture of f/2.4 and supports laser autofocus and LED flash. Users can put in a microSD card with up to 2TB capacity in both phones.

Moving on, the HTC Desire 828 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. And it’s the first regular-sized HTC phone to have a fingerprint sensor – a feature already standard on phones made my larger rivals Apple and Samsung.

The device has a 5-inch display multitouch display with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

The HTC Desire 828 comes with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expandable option of up to 2TB via microSD card slot.

Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
