The internet is buzzing with the details of the new flagship smart phone “HTC 10”, though the online launch event is still to be held for the launching.

The device’s main selling point is the 12-UltraPixel rear-facing camera that features dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization) and 4K video recording. To ensure you experience the intended audio quality, the Hi-Res audio certified earphones will be included.

The HTC 10 comes loaded with a 3,000mAh battery, which is needed to run the high-powered device. HTC claims the battery will last 2-days, but that’s yet to be seen.

Hot on the heels of the Vive launch, HTC has announced its next flagship smartphone.

However, the firm’s other ventures, most notably the HTC Vive headset, have been met with early acclaim and positive sales. The video also confirms that HTC’s latest handset will be called “HTC 10”.

The handset packs in the usual connectivity options including 4G LTE and is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense 7 UI. Tweeter in the front and woofer at the bottom with high-quality headphone makes a clear transmission of sound. Powering the HTC 10 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.

The device also supports the quick charge technology that can boost the charge to 50% within 30 minutes. And yes, unlike LG and Samsung – HTC will support Adoptable Storage, which means you can merge the device’s internal capacity with the microSD so that it appears as one large save location.

According to HTC, its engineers did a lot of optimizations for the software to work smoothly on the hardware inside the HTC 10 Lifestyle, so users shouldn’t be anxious about that. The lower end of the phone has a speaker and a USB Type-C port for charging. Internationally, the HTC 10 will be available in a choice of topaz gold, carbon grey, and glacier silver, but for the time being, Australians will only see the silver and grey.
