HTC targets USA users with $100 discount on HTC 10

HTC returned to form this year with the stellar HTC 10 smartphone, following a disappointing showing in 2015. However, HTC’s not finished yet. Presumably, it will be cheaper than the HTC 10 Lifestyle, already a slightly more basic version of the HTC 10.

Customers who pick up the HTC 10 with this discount are still entitled to one year of Uh-Oh accidental damage protection, which gets you a free fix or replacement if you break your screen of damage any other hardware within the first 12 months.

Amazingly, HTC’s still not done.

On top of the new phone you will receive, HTC appears to be throwing in $100 of credit towards HTC accessories.

Bear in mind that the $100 in credit that HTC is going to provide can’t be used to purchase HTC Vive accessories, spending the $100 credit on accessories for the company’s first virtual reality headset is not allowed. Not bad at all. We rated it highly in our review, noting its gorgeous design and fast fingerprint sensor, plus the stunning 5.2-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel screen. It runs a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, and 4GB of RAM.

In the tweet, the author linked an image of a photoshopped device which should more or less resemble the look of the final product, although we would take that with a big grain of salt.

To get the offer from HTC you’ll need to buy the phone unlocked through HTC.com, where you can choose the exclusive carbon grey color scheme instead of the usual silver. Starting today and through the end of July, US customers can purchase the HTC 10 at a price of $599.
