HTC tells us to ‘be edgier,’ new smartphones coming

HTC has been teasing their new HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC Desire 10 Pro handsets over the last few weeks and now they have released a new teaser video. HTC already has a web page for its upcoming launch event, though there’s not much to discover there right now (besides the two teaser videos that are already online). According to the video, the launch date is supposed to be September 20th.

In a YouTube video, HTC has not revealed much about the devices but shown a glimpse of what seems like a camera panel from the upcoming smartphones.

These two devices will surely capture market attention, but HTC hopes that the high-end specs on the HTC Desire 10 Pro will keep fans true to the series.

As per previous rumours and leaks, the new HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle will feature a 5.5-inch display with HD [720 x 1280 pixels] resolution. The smartphone is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SoC, and will come coupled with storage variants of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It is further said to sport a 13-megapixel on the back with backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor and LED flash. As is the case with most of HTC phones, the Lifestyle won’t be lacking in the audio department with its Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers. The smartphone will likely be available in multiple matte colour options. Although we will have to wait till the official unveiling of the Desire 10 family, rumor has it that the Desire 10 Lifestyle will be a stylish but affordable smartphone with a price tag of $150.
